From a variety of trains to drive (old and new), Train Simulator 2016 features realistic sounds to enhance the experience. The game-play is simple; fulfill your duty of picking up and dropping passengers, stay in speed limit, make it on time, dodge oncoming vehicles and of course blow the very enthralling air horn. Red round button on bottom right of screen will start and halt train. Swiping right and left will make the train turn. There is a fixed time limit in every level, and player must reach the destination before time runs out. There is also a speed limit which will be constantly changing. Player will need to keep an eye on it, and accelerate accordingly. Accelerator slider on bottom right corner of screen is controlled by simply dragging it up and down. Staying in speed limit will earn player 3 stars. And to earn 250 XP, player will need to blow air horn at the crossings. There are up to three stars to gain in every level, each give a different sum of XP points. Player is rewarded with coins on completing a level. Coins are used to purchase more trains, and upgrade the existing ones for a smooth ride. Train Simulator 2016 also teaches players amazing facts about trains ever now and then.
